Última actualización: 13 de septiembre de 2026
This Warehouse Terms & Storage Policy applies to goods received, handled, stored, inspected, consolidated, repacked or otherwise processed by 1688 Fulfillment as part of our China-based fulfillment services.
By instructing a supplier, seller, factory, courier or other party to send goods to a warehouse address provided by 1688Fulfillment, the customer agrees to comply with this policy together with any applicable quotation, Service Terms, Shipping Terms and other confirmed service arrangements.
1. Scope of Warehouse Services
Depending on the service arrangement confirmed with the customer, our warehouse services may include:
- Recepción de paquetes de los proveedores
- Parcel identification
- Temporary storage
- Comprobación de cantidades
- Basic visual inspection
- Photo and video verification
- Product sorting
- Multi-supplier consolidation
- Reembalaje
- Packaging optimization
- Return or exchange assistance
- Replacement-product receiving
- Embalaje final
- Weight and dimension measurement
- Shipment preparation
- International shipping handover
Not every service is automatically included.
The exact scope of work depends on the services requested and confirmed for the relevant order.
2. Warehouse Address Must Be Confirmed Before Shipping
Customers must obtain the correct warehouse address and receiving instructions from our team before asking suppliers to ship goods.
Warehouse addresses, receiving procedures or routing arrangements may change.
Customers should not assume that an address used for a previous shipment remains valid for future orders.
Do not instruct a supplier to ship until the applicable warehouse information has been confirmed.
1688Fulfillment is not responsible for delays, misdelivery or additional costs caused by goods being sent to an incorrect, outdated or unconfirmed address.
3. Customer and Parcel Identification
Customers may be required to use a customer reference, order number, warehouse code or other identification information provided by our team.
Suppliers should follow the receiving instructions accurately.
Where available, customers should also provide:
- Nombre del proveedor
- Supplier order number
- Número de seguimiento nacional
- Descripción del producto
- Cantidad prevista
- Referencia de cliente
- Other information reasonably required for parcel identification
Correct identification helps us match incoming parcels to the appropriate customer.
4. Unidentified Parcels
If a parcel arrives without sufficient customer or order information, it may be treated as an unidentified parcel.
Unidentified parcels may experience delays while our team attempts to determine ownership.
We may request additional information such as:
- Número de seguimiento nacional
- Datos del proveedor
- Order screenshots
- Información sobre el producto
- Shipping date
- Package appearance
- Other identifying information
The customer is responsible for providing sufficient information to support identification.
We do not guarantee immediate identification of packages that arrive without the required receiving information.
5. Supplier Tracking Information
Customers are encouraged to provide domestic tracking numbers for supplier shipments where available.
Tracking information may help us:
- Anticipate incoming parcels
- Identify delivered parcels
- Investigate missing deliveries
- Match parcels to customers
A courier status showing “delivered” does not automatically prove that the parcel has been successfully identified and entered into the customer’s warehouse record.
Warehouse receiving confirmation should be treated separately from the courier’s delivery status.
6. Receiving Inspection
Initial parcel receiving does not automatically include a detailed product inspection.
Unless an inspection service has been requested, warehouse receiving may primarily involve:
- Accepting the parcel
- Identifying the customer
- Recording basic parcel information
- Placing the parcel into the appropriate warehouse process
Detailed quantity, model, color, condition or product checks must be separately requested where applicable.
7. Parcel Condition on Arrival
Where reasonably apparent, our team may record visible external damage to packaging when goods arrive.
Algunos ejemplos pueden ser:
- Crushed cartons
- Torn packaging
- Wet packaging
- Opened parcels
- Heavily damaged outer packaging
However, acceptance of a parcel does not mean that we guarantee the condition of the contents inside.
Damage that is not externally visible may only become apparent after the parcel is opened or inspected.
8. Quantity and Product Inspection
Where inspection has been requested, our warehouse team may perform basic checks according to the confirmed inspection scope.
Such checks may include:
- Cantidad
- Aspecto del producto
- Color
- Modelo
- Daños visibles
- Estado del embalaje
- Etiquetas
- Basic order comparison
Inspection is limited to the agreed scope.
Unless separately arranged, it does not include laboratory testing, certification, authenticity verification, technical engineering inspection, performance testing or regulatory compliance testing.
9. Photos and Videos
Where included in the service arrangement, photos or videos may be provided for purposes such as:
- Product verification
- Resumen de cantidades
- Packaging review
- Visible defect documentation
- Return or exchange evidence
- Confirmación final del embalaje
Photos and videos are intended to provide practical warehouse-side information.
They do not constitute professional product certification or a guarantee of product quality.
10. Warehouse Storage
Goods may be stored at our warehouse while customers wait for:
- Other supplier parcels
- Replacement products
- Return or exchange resolution
- Consolidación
- Embalaje final
- Instrucciones de envío
- Pago
- Destination confirmation
- Transportation arrangements
Storage conditions, included storage periods and any applicable fees depend on the confirmed service arrangement.
Customers should not assume that warehouse storage is unlimited.
11. Storage Period
The applicable storage period begins when goods are received and identified by the warehouse unless otherwise confirmed.
Different service arrangements may have different storage conditions.
Customers are responsible for monitoring their orders and providing timely instructions regarding:
- Consolidación
- Reembalaje
- Volver
- Intercambio
- Envíos internacionales
- Continued storage
Where goods remain in storage beyond an agreed or reasonable period, additional storage charges may apply.
12. Storage Fees
Where storage fees apply, the applicable rate or charging method will be communicated according to the relevant service arrangement.
Storage fees may depend on factors such as:
- Number of parcels
- Número de cajas
- Peso
- Volume
- Tipo de producto
- Storage duration
- Special handling requirements
Additional fees may also apply to oversized, fragile, regulated or unusually difficult-to-store goods.
13. Long-Term Storage
Our warehouse is primarily intended for fulfillment and shipping preparation rather than indefinite long-term storage.
If goods remain in the warehouse for an extended period, we may contact the customer and request instructions.
The customer may be required to:
- Arrange shipment
- Pay additional storage fees
- Return the goods
- Transfer them to another location
- Provide another reasonable instruction
Long-term storage must be separately confirmed where required.
14. Customer Delays
Customers should respond to warehouse questions and requests within a reasonable period.
Delays in providing instructions may affect:
- Plazos de devolución de los proveedores
- Marketplace dispute deadlines
- Storage charges
- Shipping schedules
- Consolidation timing
- Customs documentation
- Carrier bookings
1688Fulfillment is not responsible for consequences caused solely by prolonged customer delay in providing necessary instructions.
15. Multi-Supplier Storage
One of our core services is receiving goods from multiple Chinese suppliers.
Different suppliers may deliver at different times.
Earlier parcels may remain in storage until the customer decides that enough supplier orders have arrived to proceed with consolidation or shipping.
The customer is responsible for confirming when the order is complete and ready for final processing unless otherwise agreed.
16. Consolidation
Where requested, goods from multiple supplier parcels may be combined into fewer cartons before international shipping.
Consolidation may include:
- Sorting goods
- Removing separate courier packaging
- Combining products
- Preparing final cartons
- Organizing the shipment for export
Consolidation does not automatically include detailed product inspection unless inspection has also been requested.
17. Repacking and Packaging Optimization
Where appropriate, we may remove unnecessary packaging such as:
- Bolsas de mensajería
- Duplicate cartons
- Excess external packaging
- Material de relleno innecesario
Goods may then be repacked more efficiently.
The purpose is to reduce unnecessary packaging and avoidable shipping volume where practical.
However, packaging optimization does not guarantee a specific reduction in:
- Peso
- Volume
- Freight charges
- Peso volumétrico
Necessary protective materials may be retained or added where reasonably required.
18. Customer Packaging Requests
Customers may provide special packing instructions.
Algunos ejemplos pueden ser:
- Separate certain products
- Keep original packaging
- Remove supplier invoices
- Add protective material
- Use additional cartons
- Reinforce fragile products
- Separate SKUs
- Apply labels
Special requests must be confirmed before final packing.
Additional handling or material fees may apply.
19. Final Packing Confirmation
Where applicable, we may provide final packing information before dispatch.
Esto puede incluir:
- Número de cajas
- Fotos
- Peso
- Dimensiones
- Estado del embalaje
- Shipping-label information
Customers should review the information promptly.
Once the customer confirms the shipment and international dispatch begins, further warehouse-side changes may no longer be possible.
20. Weight and Dimensions
Warehouse weight and dimension measurements are made for fulfillment and shipping purposes.
Final chargeable weight may differ depending on the carrier or freight provider.
International freight may be charged according to the greater of:
- Peso real
- Peso volumétrico
- Other applicable carrier measurement rules
Carrier remeasurement may take priority over preliminary warehouse measurements where applicable.
21. Restricted and Prohibited Goods
Customers must not send prohibited, dangerous, illegal or restricted goods without prior confirmation.
Products requiring special review may include:
- Baterías
- Battery-powered products
- Líquidos
- Polvos
- Productos químicos
- Flammable products
- Dangerous goods
- Medicines
- Productos sanitarios
- Alimentación
- Cosméticos
- Weapons or weapon-related products
- Counterfeit goods
- Controlled products
- Productos de marca
- Products subject to export restrictions
- Other regulated cargo
Customers should refer to our Política sobre artículos prohibidos y restringidos and confirm unusual cargo before sending it.
22. Undeclared Special Cargo
Customers are responsible for accurately declaring the nature of their goods.
If goods are found to contain undisclosed dangerous, restricted or special cargo, we may suspend processing.
The customer may be responsible for any resulting:
- Inspection fees
- Handling charges
- Return costs
- Storage costs
- Disposal costs
- Penalties
- Carrier charges
- Regulatory costs
We may refuse to process goods that cannot legally or safely be stored or transported.
23. Product Legality
The customer is responsible for ensuring that goods are legal to purchase, store, export, import and receive in the applicable jurisdictions.
Warehouse acceptance does not constitute confirmation that the product is legally exportable or importable.
International shipping approval may require separate review.
24. Fragile Goods
Fragile products may require special handling or packaging.
Customers should inform us in advance if goods are:
- Glass
- Ceramic
- Easily breakable
- Delicate
- High-value
- Sensitive to pressure
- Sensitive to moisture
- Otherwise unusually fragile
Additional protective packaging may be recommended or required.
25. High-Value Goods
Customers should inform us in advance before sending unusually high-value goods.
Additional confirmation, documentation, packaging or insurance arrangements may be appropriate.
Unless separately agreed, standard warehouse handling should not be interpreted as providing automatic insurance coverage for the full commercial value of goods.
26. Perishable or Time-Sensitive Goods
Products with limited shelf life or special storage requirements must be confirmed in advance.
Our ordinary warehouse service should not be assumed to provide:
- Refrigeration
- Frozen storage
- Temperature control
- Humidity-controlled storage
- Food-grade storage
- Pharmaceutical storage
unless specifically confirmed in writing.
27. Returns to Suppliers
Where a customer requests a supplier return, the return must generally be approved by the supplier before goods are sent back.
The customer should provide or confirm:
- Supplier return address
- Datos de contacto
- Instrucciones para devoluciones
- Applicable return code
- Required packaging
- Other relevant information
Domestic return courier charges and warehouse handling charges may apply.
More detailed conditions are provided in our Política de asistencia en devoluciones y reembolsos.
28. Replacement Goods
Replacement products may be sent back to our warehouse after a supplier exchange.
Replacement goods are treated as a new incoming warehouse event and may require:
- Receiving
- Identification
- Inspección
- Fotos
- Almacenamiento
- Reembalaje
Additional fees may apply according to the service arrangement.
29. Customer-Owned Goods
Goods stored at our warehouse remain the property of the customer or other lawful owner, subject to applicable supplier rights, payment obligations, warehouse terms and applicable law.
Warehouse possession does not mean that 1688Fulfillment becomes the seller or owner of the goods.
30. Payment Before Release
Where charges are due for warehouse, fulfillment, shipping or related services, we may require payment before goods are released or dispatched.
Charges may include:
- Warehouse services
- Inspección
- Photos or videos
- Reembalaje
- Packaging material
- Almacenamiento
- Return processing
- Domestic shipping
- Envíos internacionales
- Other confirmed services
Shipment may be delayed until applicable charges are settled.
31. Unpaid Charges
Where amounts remain unpaid, we may suspend further warehouse processing or shipment subject to applicable law and the confirmed service arrangement.
The customer remains responsible for outstanding charges relating to services already provided.
We do not waive payment obligations merely because goods remain in storage.
32. Unclaimed Goods
Goods may be considered unclaimed where:
- The owner cannot be identified
- The customer stops responding for an extended period
- Storage charges remain unpaid
- No shipping or disposal instructions are provided
- The goods remain beyond the applicable storage arrangement
We will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer where contact details are available.
33. Abandoned Goods
Where goods remain unclaimed or unresolved for an extended period, further action may be required.
Subject to applicable law and prior notice where reasonably practicable, options may include:
- Continued storage at additional cost
- Return to supplier
- Transfer to another location
- Disposal
- Other lawful handling
Any costs incurred may remain the responsibility of the customer.
Goods will not be treated as abandoned solely because of a short communication delay.
34. Disposal of Goods
Disposal will only be considered where reasonably necessary and legally permitted.
This may apply to goods that are:
- Prohibited
- Dangerous
- Perishable
- Unsanitary
- Legally restricted
- Unclaimed for an extended period
- Impossible to return
- Otherwise unsuitable for continued storage
Where practicable, we will attempt to notify the customer before disposal unless immediate action is required for safety or legal reasons.
Disposal costs may be charged to the customer where permitted.
35. Warehouse Inventory Records
Warehouse records may include:
- Número de paquetes
- Números de seguimiento
- Fotos
- Cantidad del producto
- Peso
- Dimensiones
- Storage location
- Processing status
These records are intended to support fulfillment operations.
Customers should notify us promptly if they believe a warehouse record contains an error.
36. Inventory Discrepancies
If a customer believes that goods are missing or incorrectly recorded, they should contact us promptly and provide relevant order and supplier information.
We may review:
- Receiving records
- Tracking information
- Fotos
- Warehouse records
- Información sobre el proveedor
- Available video or operational records
The outcome will depend on the available evidence.
37. Loss or Damage in Storage
We take reasonable care when receiving, storing and handling customer goods.
However, warehouse services do not eliminate all risk.
Loss or damage may result from circumstances such as:
- Inadequate supplier packaging
- Hidden product defects
- Product deterioration
- Fragility
- Natural characteristics of the goods
- Events outside reasonable control
Any liability will be assessed according to the applicable service agreement, available evidence and applicable law.
38. Pre-Existing Damage
1688Fulfillment is not responsible for damage that existed before the goods were received by the warehouse.
Where inspection or photography is requested, we may help document visible pre-existing damage.
However, the absence of a photo does not necessarily mean that a defect arose while goods were in our possession.
39. Supplier Packaging
Suppliers are responsible for the packaging used when goods are sent to our warehouse.
If supplier packaging is inadequate, additional packaging may be recommended or required before international shipment.
Additional packaging materials or handling may incur charges.
40. Force Majeure and Events Outside Our Control
Warehouse operations may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Algunos ejemplos pueden ser:
- Natural disasters
- Severe weather
- Fire
- Flood
- Epidemics
- Government restrictions
- Customs actions
- Power outages
- Transportation disruption
- Fallos en la red
- Labor disruption
- Public emergencies
- Other force majeure events
Where such events occur, processing or storage operations may be delayed.
41. International Shipping Handover
Warehouse responsibility for physical custody may change once goods are formally transferred to the relevant international carrier, freight provider or authorized transport partner.
After handover, transportation-related matters are generally governed by the applicable shipping arrangement and carrier terms.
Warehouse Terms should therefore be read together with the applicable Condiciones de envío and any confirmed quotation.
42. Insurance
Warehouse storage or international transportation does not automatically include full-value cargo insurance unless insurance has been specifically confirmed.
Where insurance is available, coverage may depend on:
- Tipo de carga
- Declared value
- Método de envío
- Destino
- Insurer requirements
Customers who require insurance should request confirmation before shipment.
43. Accurate Customer Information
Customers must provide accurate information relating to:
- Productos
- Cantidad
- Datos del proveedor
- Cargo value
- Tipo de producto
- Destino
- Datos de contacto
- Requisitos de envío
- Special handling requirements
Incorrect or incomplete information may cause delays, additional charges or service restrictions.
44. Customer Communication
Customers should maintain a working communication method while goods are stored at our warehouse.
WhatsApp or email may be used for:
- Parcel updates
- Inspection results
- Fotos
- Problem reports
- Packing confirmation
- Payment requests
- Instrucciones de envío
Customers are responsible for monitoring the communication channels they provide.
45. Personal Information and Shipping Data
Warehouse operations may require personal or commercial information such as:
- Customer name
- Número de teléfono
- Dirección de entrega
- Datos del proveedor
- Información sobre el pedido
- Tracking details
Such information is handled in accordance with our Política de privacidad.
46. No Guarantee of Supplier Performance
Receiving goods at our warehouse does not mean that 1688Fulfillment guarantees:
- Supplier quality
- Product authenticity
- Supplier honesty
- Funcionalidad del producto
- Supplier delivery speed
- Aprobación del reembolso
- Product compliance
Our role is limited to the fulfillment and warehouse services agreed with the customer.
47. No Guaranteed Shipping Savings
Consolidation and repacking may help improve shipment efficiency.
However, we do not guarantee a specific percentage reduction in:
- Freight costs
- Peso
- Peso volumétrico
- Packaging volume
Actual results depend on the products, supplier packaging, final carton configuration and carrier charging rules.
48. Independent Service Provider
1688Fulfillment es un proveedor independiente de servicios de logística con sede en China.
We are not affiliated with, operated by, endorsed by or sponsored by 1688.com, Alibaba Group, Alibaba.com, Taobao or Tmall.
